A longtime local favorite, Flamingo Grill is owned and operated by Dino Thompson, whose deep family ties to Myrtle Beach’s mid-century history connect directly to Charlie’s Place.
Dino grew up in the Kozy Korner Diner, frequented Charlie’s Place as a teen, and later became one of the club’s most passionate preservationists.
Flamingo Grill isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a living tribute. Inside, visitors will find posters and memorabilia from the golden age of Carver Street, lovingly curated by Dino himself.
It’s one of the few places where you can enjoy a meal and absorb a bit of the story that changed Myrtle Beach. Visit Flamingo Grill
